When you join the membership for $39/month you get access to both the Supple & Strong & Kettlebell Strength Programs Experience a well rounded movement practice with your preferred equipment, and at the pace that’s right for you. Here’s what’s inside the membership:

Supple & Strong

Get stronger while increasing your flexibility and movement control 

Recorded Classes

— deal with the bothersome aches and pains that you know you need to address, but don’t exactly know how to

— strength train without overdoing it

— increase suppleness and the ability to bend, twist, expand, compress and change shape fluidly and without pain

— increase physical strength in a variety of body positions, ranges of motion, and in relevant ways to make daily activities easier

In this program you will:

  • learn how to tap into the nervous system to decrease tension and pain, and increase strength

  • learn specific joint mobility exercises to improve your brain to body map and strengthen joints from every angle

  • explore soft tissue massage techniques to decrease tension

  • learn nerve mobilizations to increase range of motion, flexibility, and decrease pain or tightness

  • strength train in multiple planes of motion with dumbbells, body weight, and band resisted exercises

  • strengthen the major muscle groups through squats, lunges, hip hinges, presses, rows and more

  • learn how to modify most exercises to meet the needs of your body

  • explore relaxation techniques to reduce excessive muscle tension


Equipment: 

  1. Resistance Bands: One light AND one medium jumpstretch resistance band. I recommend the following options:

    • Rubber/latex resistance bands You will need a #0 and a #1 resistance band. The rubber is more affordable than the fabric option, but can be irritating to grip.

      OR

    • Fabric resistance bands. You will need a light (gray) and medium (green) band. These are my preferred bands if they work for your budget.

    •   You may want to purchase a heavy resistance band as well (this is optional). 

  2. Therapy massage balls: like these Yoga Tune Up Original Size

  3. Dumbbells: at least one light to medium weight AND one medium to heavy dumbbell. The lighter weight is mostly for upper body exercises, depending on your current strength it could be anywhere from 5 lbs. to 15 lbs. (or more/less). The heavier weight is for lower body exercises, it could range anywhere from 10 lbs. to 30 lbs. (or more/less). If you’re not sure, stores like Target have a great selection and excellent return/exchange programs ; )

  4. A Chair or Stool.

  5. Comfortable area to lie down or kneel and any additional props you know you will need to make the ground more comfortable (yoga mat, pillow, folded blanket, etc.)

Also included in the membership: Kettlebell Strength - designed for the slightly experienced beginner or intermediate kettlebell lifter.

Kettlebell Strength

eliminate the confusion and frustration of figuring out what you’re supposed to do at your next workout. just show up and work on getting stronger.

— 3 workouts a week as a written program with short demonstration videos of each exercise 

— each workout includes mobility and warm up exercises, a kettlebell strength and or conditioning routine, and cool down exercises  

— workouts are designed to be completed in 45 minutes or less

  • are struggling to create a regular/consistent routine

  • have a hard time planning what to do when you want to workout or strength train

  • know how to do various strength and mobility exercises, but just don’t know how to put them all together

Every week you’ll get access to 3 new workouts for the week + a weekly warm up and cool down routine.

The workouts are written out with quick reference videos for each exercise.

You set the pace.

When you enroll for Kettlebell Strength you'll automatically get access to Kettlebell Connections: an 8 part series designed to help you bridge the gap from traditional hard style kettlebell training to multi-directional movement.

I’m Isabelle Barter

Neurocentric Strength & Movement Specialist

I’m devoted to helping people 40+ transform the way they feel in their bodies because way too many humans are living in pain and on the precipice of injury.

And it doesn’t have to be this way.

If my background in fitness, neurocentric training, and movement have taught me anything, it’s that with the right techniques and tools you can hit the upgrade button on your body and experience an ease and strength you never knew was possible.

Your human body is always working for you - doing it’s best to keep all of the pieces functioning well. But sometimes there’s a short circuit, a groove in the brain that keeps you caught experiencing the same patterns of pain and discomfort.

Here’s the cool part: you can change this.

Using a neurocentretic approach to fitness, we’re able to not only make you stronger, but essentially improve the brain/body connections so you’re set up to move better for life.

This is a cutting edge approach to strength training, mobility, AND regulating the nervous system, the brain, and the body all at once. Which means, your life will most definitely change as a result.

    There are no refunds for subscriptions. I understand that unforeseeable life events happen from time to time, so please email me to discuss unique exceptions such as prolonged illness or injury that will no longer allow you to participate in the program.

  • This depends on your level of pain or the nature of your injury.

    If you are unsure, please get clearance from a medical provider before starting any new exercise routine.

    If you are currently struggling with chronic pain that makes it difficult for you to perform day to day tasks or have a recent and active injury, then this program is not for you.

    However, if your pain is well managed or you have a history of injury and you have been cleared to exercise by your doctor, then this program may be appropriate for you.
